Anti Littering campaign at Pagham Beach
Pagham Parish Council has responded to residents concerns over the increased amount of litter being left at the beach and around the bins. The easing of lockdown restrictions has led to a surge of visitors to Pagham’s beach, not all of whom are dealing with their litter responsibly. The Council has placed floor stickers at entry/exit points at the beach encouraging visitors to keep the beach clean by either putting their rubbish in the bin, or taking it home. There are also stickers for bins and posters displayed on lampposts. We are liaising with Arun District Council regarding the frequency and timing of bin emptying.
